About Dental Laboratories
The role of dental laboratories has been best described as the same relationship as your doctor and your
pharmacist. Like pharmacists, we fill our prescriptions as specified by your practitioner. When your
dentist prescribes an appliance or device for you, either for esthetic, corrective, or functional
purposes, that prescription is sent to laboratories like ourselves for fabrication. The prescription
will indicate the type of appliance or device and other specifications he/she has outlined.
For situations like dentures, we factor in your gender and personality to match your teeth sizes, shades,
and gum colors. We partner with your dentist to ensure the best results for you. If you have any
questions pertaining to our role or responsibilities, we encourage you to contact us.
Young Dental Laboratory, Inc. has been serving the dental community for 20 years. We have since then
established ourselves in our industry by becoming a member of the National Association of Dental
Laboratories (NADL), become a supporter of dental related industries, and have plans to encourage
education in dental laboratory technology. We are also considering improvements in our operations to
better meet the needs of the dental community, the public and also in public relations.
